S.B. Action Gunsmithing is a business based in Adelaide, South Australia, specialising in custom firearms and accessories. We manufacture many products which are sold thoughout Australia and overseas. The director of the business is Steve Burgan, a shooter and firearm manufacturer with over 30 years experience.

Steve has been a competitive pistol, rifle, and shotgun shooter since 1974, and has travelled the world representing Australia as an individual competitor and Australian Team Manager. He is a Licensed Gunsmith and holds qualifications in tool making, specialising in designing products and manufacturing plastic moulding dies and press tools.

While working as a contract tool maker, Steve began to build his own custom firearms for some of the world's most popular firearm competitions, such as Action Pistol, IPSC, Service Pistol, Bench Rest, and IPSC Rifle. Before long, his custom firearms and accessories were highly sought after by many professional shooters, hunters, and competitive shooters. He now also assists several top Australian pistol shooters in Action Pistol (Int1920) IPSC in maintaining their rankings in the top 10 in the world for Action Pistol, and the top 10 in Australia for IPSC.

S.B. Action Gunsmithing manufactures its own range of accessories and custom-built firearms, designed and built to your individual requirements or specifications. We also service and repair all makes and types of firearms for the competitive and professional shooter, primary producers, and security industries.

We import all replacement factory parts for the majority of firearms, and if they are unavailable, have the facilities to manufacture them. We also sell most factory produced firearms and accessories.
